2. How Long Will It Take Me To Complete The Program?

A- Our Full-time Day students can expect to complete the course in 46 weeks. Part-time Day or Evening students can expect 72 weeks for course completion.

3. Do You Offer Courses For Make-Up Or Aesthetics Alone?

A- No, our cosmetology program is versatile and will prepare you for various career paths including make-up artistry and aesthetics.

4. Do You Offer Part-Time/Evening Classes?

A- Yes, both part-time day and evening classes are available.

5. How Will I Learn?

A- Students receive classroom theory and hands-on practice in our student/clinic salon. We use cutting edge technology to deliver an exceptional classroom experience. Tablets are included as part of your student kit.

6. When Can I Start Providing Services To Clients?

A- The state of Connecticut requires that a student complete 200 hours of theory and practice before performing supervised services to the public.

7. How Much Does It Cost To Attend & What Is included In A Student Kit (supplies/books/equipment)?

A- Tuition is $15,000 with a $100 registration fee, $2,200 for supplies/equipment and $50 for your uniform.

8. Will I Incur Other Fees Not Included In The Tuition?

A- Aside from optional field trips, no. We offer an all-inclusive program that additional certifications like hair extensions, Keratin Straightening, make-up, etc. are all included in the cosmetology program at Dolce Academy.

9. What Costs Will I Incur For The Connecticut State Testing & Application?

A- The Connecticut application and testing exam fee is $100 and $65, total $165 and is the responsibility of the student. .

10. What Is included In A Student Kit (supplies/books/equipment)?

A- Student kits are loaded with learning materials from 5 practice Manikins, as well as several shears, brushes, hot irons, blow dryer, Mani/Ped sets, lashes, perm rods, TEMPO make-up kit, a tablet and the Milady’s Cosmetology Course Book Bundle edition (ISBN: 9781305716506) $203.95. Quality equipment and so much more all with your own Wooden locking salon station and carry case.

11. Do You Offer In-House Payment Plans?

A- Yes, and our plans are interest free.

12. Do You Offer Financial Aid?

A- Yes, we do offer financial aid to those who qualify. We have a Financial Aid Administrator in house that can help you fill out your FAFSA.

13. How Do I Apply For Financial Aid?

A- Prospective students can apply for financial aid by completing a FAFSA form and using our school code 042498.
